Classes
Ballet
These classes will focus on developing all important ballet techniques with a fun twist. Students will learn the traditional techniques but using modern music and body core sessions in order to create good, strong, healthy and competent dancers. These classes are available to children aged 2-18 and are based on ability rather than age.
Senior Comp
This is an intensive class which is available by invitation or audition only. Pupils in this class will have the opportunity to compete in some of the best competitions in the area and nationally. This is done on ability and age and is our top competition group. This competition is for dancers who are looking to work in the industry.
Junior Comp
This is an intensive class which is available by invitation or audition only. Pupils in this class will have the opportunity to compete in some of the best competitions in the area and nationally. This is done on ability and age and is our top competition group. This competition is for dancers who are passionate about dancing.
Mini Comp
This is an intensive class which is available by invitation or audition only. Pupils in this class will have the opportunity to compete in some of the best competitions in the area and nationally. This is done on ability and age and is our top competition group. This competition is for our young Dynamic Stars who are starting up their career in dancing.
Musical Theatre Comp
This is an intensive class which is available by invitation or audition only. Pupils in this class will have the opportunity to compete in some of the best competitions in the area and nationally. This is done on ability and age and is our top competition group. This competition team is for people who may be more passionate about Singing and acting than dance.
Modern
Modern dance started as a rejection of classical ballet techniques, but it is now a recognisable art form that stands on its own as a style. Modern is an expressive style of dance that challenges the dance technique of classical ballet. The focus of Modern is expression, rather than following a set of postures or technical positions that ballet dancers are trained in. Modern movements are considered more ‘fluid’, and are often inspired by other dance styles such as African dance, Ballet and Folk Dance. Modern requires considerable core work and strength.
Tots
We are excited to be offering a dedicated class for our little dynamic stars. This class introduces 2-4 year olds to the world of self expression through dance and music. Teaching technique and performance skills that will be both fun and helpful towards developing their skills whilst making new friends.
Heels
Heels dance has now become a very popular dance genre as its featured in the majority of pop and hip-hop music videos. This class is aimed at students who want to take their training to the next level. In this class we explore developed fundamental techniques for dancing in heels, learning how to pick up dance routines and retain choreography and explore fun ways of being creative with movement and music.
